You have surely already heard of Brunello and Barolo, the popular wines of Piemonte and Toscana, officially presented today in Denmark, together to bid farewell to an ancient rivalry. The war between the wine of Cavour and that of Garibaldi is over – a half-century period of endless competitive struggle between the two brands has come to an end. The two companies have decided to put the past behind them and plan joint strategies to conquer new market segments together. To make this "union" official, two tastings in Denmark have been organised today and tomorrow, with 70 producers from Piemonte and Toscana ready to demonstrate the quality of Italian wine.
An oenological alliance that aims to offer a different alternative in the wine world. Abroad, vini italiani are well appreciated, and for the first time an event has been created from a partnership between the Consorzio I Vini del Piemonte and La strada del Barolo. The events organised today and tomorrow inside the Borsen Palace will allow wine enthusiasts to discover all the qualities of Barolo and Brunello. The event offers space for 400 trade professionals and countless wine lovers, ready to discover the very finest specialities and experience the true taste of great Italian wine.
