Family winery founded in 1977 by Giuseppe Apicella on the terraces of Tramonti, in the Costa d'Amalfi DOC. It farms 7-8 hectares between 300 and 600 metres of altitude with indigenous varieties such as Tintore, Piedirosso, Pepella and Biancolella, largely own-rooted and never struck by phylloxera. A' Scippata Riserva is the flagship wine and one of the purest expressions of Italy's steepest heroic viticulture.
