Vento rosè and the five-color diet! Flavor and Health.

Our selection of reviewed cantina Teanum products gains a new member today; after Tiati Metodo Classico we are about to taste another sparkling wine, this time a metodo Charmat.

The product in question is Vento spumante Brut rosè, made from pure aglianico, just like Gran Tiati.

Soft pressing, fermentation at controlled temperature with selected yeasts; it is then made sparkling using the Metodo Martinotti with frequent stirring to encourage the transfer of aromatic compounds from the yeasts.

Light vermilion red in color, with a perlage that is not the finest but rather persistent; on the nose strawberries and wildflower aromas stand out immediately; on the palate it is anything but ordinary – well-balanced body with a prominent acidic note, evident fresh and fruity flavor.

Great as an aperitif, but it would be interesting to try it with a lovely fruit salad!

Today, however, we paired it with a health-conscious dish: fruit skewers.

We built our skewers by balancing types of fruit with different beneficial properties, all listed among the 50 healthiest foods in the world by EcoWatch.

The dish is of course vegan and raw!

Ingredients:

- mela annurca – green apple with skin: containing vitamin C and antioxidants

- avocado – healthy fats, omega 3, fiber, potassium, vitamin C

- banana – potassium, vitamin B6, and a touch of sweetness

- orange – vitamin C and antioxidants

- blueberries – antioxidants, beneficial for circulation and draining

- strawberries and raspberries – low in calories and carbohydrates, rich in vitamin C and manganese

- kiwi – vitamin C - fennel – fresh, low in fat, draining

The preparation is simple and obvious: chop and skewer!

These skewers embody the essence of food chromotherapy, according to which our diet should be balanced by following the "suggestions" of the five colors of our dishes, which help us recognize the properties of what we eat.

Specifically:

- Red: all vegetables and fruits of this color help protect the heart, urinary tract, and memory;

- Yellow/Orange: strengthen the eyes, help with tanning, and above all support the immune system;

- Green: a remedy for bones, teeth, and eyes - Purple: supports blood circulation and helps prevent circulatory issues

- White: foods that promote the correct absorption of fats in food

A simple yet impressive idea for any guests – this sparkling wine with its elegant bottle and color paired with a dish to explain by delving into the miraculous properties of the listed fruits and showcasing your knowledge to your fellow diners!
