On the Indiegogo platform, approximately 157% of the investment needed to fund Ullo has just been reached: the device that declares war on sulfites in wine.
According to its creators, a wine without sulfites is better because it avoids headaches and reduces hangover symptoms. Ullo is capable of purifying any wine.
It seems that many wine enthusiasts are sensitive to sulfites, which are however necessary to help preserve the nectar.
Ullo, thanks to Selective Sulfite Capture™, a porous food-grade polymer filter, selectively removes sulfites and sediments.
According to the "inventors," sulfites have a bitter flavor and some tasters (mistakenly) attribute this taste to the wine itself, even praising it on occasion.
