Feudi San Gregorio, the concept bar at the airport and the Dubl+

Feudi San Gregorio, the concept bar at the airport and the Dubl+

Feudi di San Gregorio is a winery that certainly needs no introduction!
A beautiful facility, a thriving reality built on expertise and know-how, a company with a capital C that has found a way to stand out and showcase the territory through the quality of its leadership.
The winery also has a restaurant called Marennà and a Wine Bar at the Vulcano Buono shopping centre in Nola.
Recently, they also inaugurated the Dubl Bar Food & Bubbles at Naples' Capodichino international airport. An elegant, comfortable and finely crafted space that aims to showcase the spumante Dubl in all its variations, but where you can also try the winery's other wines, purchase bottles and gift boxes and, why not, enjoy something tasty to eat.

Moroso leather armchairs, blown glass lighting by Fontana Arte and extreme attention to detail invite passengers to stop and linger.
The food is excellent, with locally sourced and carefully selected ingredients and attentive service tailored to every need – vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options are also available.

Now, however, one must choose among three metodo classico wines:
- Dubl+ metodo classico made from Greco di Tufo grapes;
- Dubl Brut from Falanghina grapes;
- Dubl Rosè from Aglianico grapes

I've decided! Let's go with the first one! Dubl+ metodo classico
An elegant, persistent and fine perlage, a clear and brilliant colour; on the nose peach, apple and mango alongside the classic mineral perception typical of Greco. On the palate it is well balanced, acidic and savoury – exactly what we expected!
I recommend pairing it with raw sea truffles or sashimi, though when I ordered it – returning from an exhausting business trip and ready to get back on the road and complete the journey home – I paired it with an insalata caprese and an excellent prosciutto crudo.
The one thing I most recommend: if you pass through Naples airport, go to Food & Bubbles, admire the atmosphere and the concept, browse the gift packs and sit down for something simple and delicious while sipping a glass
